While dedicated to bringing attention to the plight of the earth
through his vividly colored oil paintings, Schiener's work is not
at all negative, but life-affirming: celebrating flowers, snow, ice,
beaches, birds, sky and water. |
|
Willi's paintings are warnings, filled with truths that speak to
the core of our survival, and yet are appropriate in virtually any
decorative setting. |
|
In addition to having received numerous awards, Schiener's work
hangs in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian Institute and
the White House of the Confederacy Museum in Richmond, VA, as well
as in corporate and private collections. |
